dr. reckefuss I love everything about this record. Stockhausen would have loved the conception of an orthodox rendition of the piece plus an ambient rework himself. Everyone since Hendrix, the Beatles and Fripp cites Stockhausen as a major influence. But here the serial Darmstadt Tradition - Blum plays brilliantly - and the rhizomatic-liberal laptop side of things magically find together in the context of a recording medium as dated/beautiful as automatic watches. A beautiful work with great artwork too.
